Celebrity in my pbl group!

For those drama lovers, you have GOT to watch Ugly Betty!!! It's currently in its 3rd season..and it just keeps getting better! I absolutely love all the villians in the series;

She's the receptionist working in Mode magazine and is absolutely hilarious! I love it when she arches her eyebrows~ adds to the whole bitchy personality


Which brings me to mention bout my pbl group mate Angeline who looks SO MUCH like Amanda!!!


I think she can post as her twin! Don't get me wrong, Angeline just LOOKS like Amanda..she's one of the nicest people in my pbl! hehehe...



There's another guy in my group who looks like Keanu Reeves (just a blonde version)...

taipomi's ministry of food

One random day, we decided to try some new recipe. Then I decided to make chessy chicken baked rice which can be found in Ching Mei's blog.

It's fairly interesting. We kinda modify some parts of the recipe because I can't find the ingredients. Simply lar...life's about taking risk! We made them 2 times. On our 2nd attempt, Yew Wen mentioned that the rice was not tasty enough so we add in lots of seasoning to the rice as well. It was absolutely delicious~

While waiting for the cheesy rice to bake, we decided to make some other stuff..ever heard of fried apples? I think it should be called "caramel apples" instead. It's VERY sweet! DIABETES!!!

Basically just dip apples into sugar and fry them with butter until it's brown.


Then Li Li made potatoes salad. It was really nice but I had no idea why I didn't take any photo of it

After many many nights/mornings of battling the undead..we finally finished all 6 chapters of Resident Evil!!!

Peel View Surgery Clinic

Today I have clinic visits again! My 1st time on the glasgow subway and train!!! The subway train was SO small!!! My lenzhai irish partner can barely stand up straight...he had to hunch inside the sub~hehehe...

I honestly had loads of fun going to the clinic! It's a new experience each time! My doctor, Dr Ian is a very humble person..though like all other doctors..they like to shoot you with lots of questions but he does so in such a relax manner so it was great!




Kirkintilloch town is so far away you can see cows in fields and beautiful meadows...so peaceful~


We had to interview a couple of patients each..and also do our longitudinal care project where we visit patients who are chronically ill. Then there's this elderly couple...they were SO cute~when we went in..they straight away offered a cup of tea~then took our coats..then the elderly auntie was like.."Just treat me like ur granny~" hehehe!!! Then she gave us so much sweeties! Then the couple was SO CUTE~so loving! They have been married for 58 years!!!

Then afterwards I interview this elderly lady..she's SO small!!! I think she only weighed 31kg and she had HUGE glasses! And can you imagine her with squeeky high voice..hehe! Very energetic for her age..she's so funny! When I asked her to describe her headache..she said, "Oh..it's like a bunch of elephants jumping on my head..a party up there!" Then, she was talking about her son who's really BIG, "He had to buy a shirt which is like XXXXXXXXL size!!! If he gets any bigger..he can put me in his pocket!" Niall said she looks like a cute preying mantis!hehehe...

I love my clinic visits!
