I think she can post as her twin! Don't get me wrong, Angeline just LOOKS like Amanda..she's one of the nicest people in my pbl! hehehe...

One random day, we decided to try some new recipe. Then I decided to make chessy chicken baked rice which can be found in Ching Mei's blog.

It's fairly interesting. We kinda modify some parts of the recipe because I can't find the ingredients. Simply lar...life's about taking risk! We made them 2 times. On our 2nd attempt, Yew Wen mentioned that the rice was not tasty enough so we add in lots of seasoning to the rice as well. It was absolutely delicious~

While waiting for the cheesy rice to bake, we decided to make some other stuff..ever heard of fried apples? I think it should be called "caramel apples" instead. It's VERY sweet! DIABETES!!!

Basically just dip apples into sugar and fry them with butter until it's brown.


Then Li Li made potatoes salad. It was really nice but I had no idea why I didn't take any photo of it

Peel View Surgery Clinic

Today I have clinic visits again! My 1st time on the glasgow subway and train!!! The subway train was SO small!!! My lenzhai irish partner can barely stand up straight...he had to hunch inside the sub~hehehe...

I honestly had loads of fun going to the clinic! It's a new experience each time! My doctor, Dr Ian is a very humble person..though like all other doctors..they like to shoot you with lots of questions but he does so in such a relax manner so it was great!




Kirkintilloch town is so far away you can see cows in fields and beautiful meadows...so peaceful~


We had to interview a couple of patients each..and also do our longitudinal care project where we visit patients who are chronically ill. Then there's this elderly couple...they were SO cute~when we went in..they straight away offered a cup of tea~then took our coats..then the elderly auntie was like.."Just treat me like ur granny~" hehehe!!! Then she gave us so much sweeties! Then the couple was SO CUTE~so loving! They have been married for 58 years!!!

Then afterwards I interview this elderly lady..she's SO small!!! I think she only weighed 31kg and she had HUGE glasses! And can you imagine her with squeeky high voice..hehe! Very energetic for her age..she's so funny! When I asked her to describe her headache..she said, "Oh..it's like a bunch of elephants jumping on my head..a party up there!" Then, she was talking about her son who's really BIG, "He had to buy a shirt which is like XXXXXXXXL size!!! If he gets any bigger..he can put me in his pocket!" Niall said she looks like a cute preying mantis!hehehe...

I'm so grateful that Han Ying came to visit all the way from Edin! It was such a BLAST!!!

Taken at Nottingham games. Both of us had to travel bout 7 hours all the way there to see each other when we were just an hour away~


So awesome to have a ghostlike-longhair girl sleeping beside me for 2 nights, radiating her warmth, testing out my "self-proclaimed pro" cooking skills, shopping buddy, gossiping whole night, playing ps3...hahaha...! We planned to go sight seeing in some places; Kelvingrove Art Gallery and museum, Oran Mor(cathedral turned pub), Transport museum, Kelvingrove park, University of Glasgow...

NONE of that happened. Coz we were in the city shopping the WHOLE time!!!hahaha...At least we managed to have a glimpse of the statues in George Square!hahaha...


Sree was such a lovely shopping companion..carries our shopping bags, our tall dark body guard and "willingly" tries on stuff for us so that we don't have to mess up our hair

We almost missed her bus.
The bus was actually scheduled at 4:45pm so we started walking out of the flat from 4pm. According to google map, it'll take 33 minutes to walk there. But usually it takes us like 20-25minutes for me to reach there...I guessed we were reluctant to let Han Ying go back so we were kinda walking quite slowly~hehe...

When Han Ying actually checked the time..it was already 4:30pm and we were still quite far away from the bus station...all 3 of us were half jogging, half running there!!! The adrenaline~
Luckily made it in time!hehe...But we let her go with a HEAVY heart~

1st GP visit

I got posted to a clinic/surgery FAR FAR FAR away~ and I am still not able to pronounce or spell the name of the place?kilkirnoch?kilkirnacock? When I googled map..It'll take almost 3 hours to WALK or bout 45minutes to drive there!!!*so I guessed no way I can ride my bike there..haih~*

I was a bit nervous bout taking the bus or the subway myself for the 1st time.
BUT, luckily...we were posted in groups of 2 or 3. AND...lucky me~I got posted with a lenzhai irish guy! JEALOUS NOT? wuahahahaha!!! What's more...he's super nice and really really friendly~!

The clinic was really really far away, and rural...there are fields and farms filled with cows and horses. The place was just mesmerizing! I'm saying this NOT because there's a lenzhai beside me ya!

The clinic visit was lots of FUN! When the 1st patient came in, it HIT me like a brick that this is the REAL thing! The doctor gave us lots of freedom. We were asked to interview the patients as we like with him sitting in a corner. We were allowed to give our probably diagnosis and give advices and suggest treatment. Seriously stimulate sparks in our brain. And as usual, the doctor would shoot us with some random questions. Makes you alert and full of energy at all times! *sucked so much brain power and energy out of me that I slept in the bus on the way back!hehehe...*

Our doctor, Dr Ian Cannon was really knowledgable and highly respected among the community. He's amazing...a great teacher. Honestly, I was expecting common cases like headache, fever and diarrhoea but we had such a huge range of diseases and findings...completely love it!

Looking forward to the next visit! yipee~

I was looking throu all the all pictures taken during IMU days...then a saw a couple of funny jumping photos. The trick about jumping photos is..it's all bout the TIMING...and EVERYONE must be synchronized to make it work!hehe..It was fun looking back on the good old times where the weather was NOT THIS COLD!!!


I remembered we were like..1,2,3 JUMP! But it's inevitable that some people would react faster and some slower..haha!!!

I GOT LOCKED OUT!!!

A very FARNY~ and memorable morning!
This is NOT the 1st time that I've locked myself out of my room...BUT this would be my very 1st experience trying to BURST open a locked door! I tell you it's not as easy as it seems on TV!It's all lies!!!

I tried using some flexible magazines, kicked it by force, bang it..twist the knob like crazy, used a screw driver...I tried every method I can think of..In vain, I ran to Liying's house with WET hair and in 7degrees!!!haha...*FREEZING~*

Then Liying tried googling up
"How to open a locked door?"
Some answer were really darn silly; "use a key", "call a locksmith"
DUH!!!DUM DUM~
But it mentioned to use hair pins, paper clips, credit cards and so on...Without much hesitation, she missed church just to teman me try to break my door down...*You're wonderful!*

Then Alfred and Li Li also came over to my place..
*I'm a sinful person lar~I made everyone missed church!*
We kept poking the door with hairpins, knocked it with the screw driver for almost an hour..We tried calling the locksmith and it cost 95POUNDS!!! Then being a kiam siap Malaysian..a calculator image appeared in my mind..

*NO WAY man...Can feed me for a few months with that amount of money~*

Then we called up everyone we could think of..Yew Wen answered to our cries of desperation...
When he managed to open the door..I WAS SO SO SO HAPPY!

Mark and Antonio was also there...they were cooking some exotic dishes. The French are all bout food presentation. They arranged the food properly and with style. They really know how to enjoy food...drank red wine somemore!

Then Mark started telling us some stories. Antonio actually entered a singing talentime show on TV back in France. It's called "STAR academic" *sounds like Akademik Fantasia* But Antonio was eliminated in the 1st week!Wuahahahaha!!!

But Antonio was really funny. *Dia punya Inggeris bukannya baik sangat..kena teka daripada action dia yang sangat comel sekali!* Lili was saying that he's very very cute then suddenly Antonio asked if she wanted his signature since he's quite famous!hahaha!!! And for real...he did wrote her a signature!!!
