the early bird catches the worm

I was EARLY for the bus this morning!!!

In fact..I was 10 minutes earlier!!!

So proud of myself~

No running, no jay walking/running, no multi-tasking while running, not covering my face so that people won't recognize the person running every morning...

Honestly I kinda like the feeling of almost being late...compared to being early and standing in the cold waiting for the bus.

At least I'm warm when I'm running~girl's gotta get her morning exercise

Vampire's blood type

Our current topics for pbls and hospital postings happened to be Hematology. So one day, during lunch hour, we started chatting away and got to know each other's blood type. Then the conversation led to blood transfusion and agglutination of wrongly transfused blood type. I have no idea how someone would be so random as to ask***I think it was Nafees***


...will a vampire get blood agglutination/hemolysis when it drinks the wrong blood type? haha!!!



After argueing for a few seconds, we came to a conclusion...
all vampires are AB positives.


***I know...I know...we're lame!***

Dashing for time

Today was my 1st day of hospital posting after the Christmas holidays. It was SO SO SO difficult to wake up! I'm so not used to waking up when it's still so
DARK and COLD!!!

My posting actually suppose starts at 9:30am but there's a FREE *note the word FREE* NHS shuttle bus at 8am from the hospital opposite my flat (Western Infirmary) to the hospital (Royal Infirmary) I'm posted to. *My pride cost less than 1.50pounds of bus fare! hahaha...*

Anyway I've managed to miss the shuttle bus several times and I had no choice but to the the public bus. So I vowed to myself...

NEVER to miss the FREE bus EVER again~


So I woke up at 6:30am!!!..got everything ready..then I forgot where I put my stetoscope! ARH!!! Searched for it so long~in the end also cannot find..it was 7:50am!!! So I RAN like crazy towards the Western Infirmary.

While running, fixing my hair, wearing my gloves, wearing my scarf, wearing my coat...multitasking! According to Google map, it'll take exactly 15minutes by walking. I dash all the way, it took me 5 minutes~! yipee~New record!!! Reached there out of breath, coughing and my "pleurisy" was killing me...Driver shakes his head. Same girl almost late all the time!


If this keeps up, I can join the 100m dash and with practice..shall win a black girl!

The most CHA DOU thing...My stetoscope was in my bag all along~

If you see a girl running early in the morning in formal clothes...
DO NOT DOUBT...it is ME!
